Confused About Swimming Pool Plumbing?
With all the new construction going on in Southern California we often get asked about pool plumbing. Specifically are there any considerations customer should think about prior to building the pool. We compiled a short list of plumbing recommendations.
What to consider prior to the build
1) Determine if there are going to be any water features in the pool. Once the pool is built it will be difficult to add the plumbing for the water fountains or features without a substantial amount of demo and extra costs.
2) Decide if you want to add a fire pit or fire features by your pool. If so we highly recommend you run the gas lines the same time you are plumbing the pool. If you decide later that you want fire features, there will be substantial costs associated with removing deck and running gas lines to the fire fixtures.
3) We also asked Bliss Pool Care , a pool service company with over 15 years of experience for some tips. The owner says "make sure the builder installs an auto fill and also upgrade your pool pump. Purchasing an efficient 2 speed pool pump will save money in the long run and help keep your pool clean.
